Dubai Opera challenged us to reposition their brand and create a unique visual identity for their 2023-2024 season.
We developed the claim “House of Cultures” which puts the Dubai Opera on center stage of the region, embodying it as the cultural hub of international arts and performance.
For the crafting of the visual identity, we referred to the Arabesque ‘mashrabiya’ element as their new signature, taking inspiration from the unique architecture of the venue, whilst paying homage to the country.
For the various shows at Dubai Opera, we paired unique elements of the Opera house with specific characteristics of the individual performances. This approach built intrigue around the Dubai Opera and increased excitement around the upcoming shows.
